Christian dentists and dental students, on the mailing
list of the Dental Prayer Fellowship (DPF), receive a monthly electronic
newsletter highlighting issues of our Christian faith and belief.
At present, recipients number just over one hundred. On alternate
last Monday or Thursday of each month 8-10pm, the DPF meet at a
home for a session of sharing, prayer and often a report or special
event. Twice yearly we get together to meet the Christian freshmen
and also for meal fellowship. More importantly, groups of 2 to 8
(the biggest was 18) embark on dental mission outreaches to Indonesia
and China twice or thrice yearly. This focus gels the group as well
as moves some from the sidewalks of the Christian road to travel
with other brethren on this exciting journey. Pray that these opportunities
may be God's provision and direction to prepare dentists for the
