Freshmen Welcome Tea
August 30, 2007

The Medicine Christian community comprising of Campus Crusade for Christ, VCF as well as The Navigators successfully concluded our Welcome Tea '07 for the freshmen on August 30, 2007.

The response was pretty good with the freshmen getting to understand the vision and activities of the different campus ministries. We were also fortunate to have A/Prof. Luke Tan to give a short speech. There were also refreshments after the talks.

A/Prof. Luke Tan recently came over for a combined Welcome Tea (Navigators, Campus Crusade and VCF) to give a sharing about the Christian medical student's life ahead. It was very engaging as he shared about the 3 Ms- that is Medicine, Marriage and Money, with respect to the higher calling of Missions in his life. Both M1s and the seniors were blessed by his sharing.

Also, God has been working in our class of M2s this year, as our Medical Christian Fellowship has seen a substantial increase in numbers during morning worship and prayer sessions before lecture starts. Plenty of new faces have showed up as more people feel God's anointing during the meetings and feel happy to wake up earlier to attend these refreshing daily gatherings. Prayer groups have been active and we are believing God to open the way for more to be seeded.
